Media for Future – Enhancing Climate Journalism through Collaboration
Climate change is one of the greatest global challenges, requiring accurate, compelling, and action-oriented communication. The Erasmus+ project Media for Future brings together scientists and journalists to strengthen their ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, raise awareness of the urgency of climate change, and inspire action.
At its core, the project develops a unique platform for climate communication, equipping media professionals and researchers with the knowledge and tools needed for high-quality climate journalism. Key activities include:

- Establishing an information hub that promotes climate literacy and provides a structured knowledge base.
- Offering training and support for journalists and scientists to enhance their ability to communicate climate topics effectively.
- Fostering an active community of practice, enabling exchange and collaboration between journalists, scientists, and other relevant actors through virtual and in-person events.
- Developing guidelines and a blended course on climate journalism in practice.
- Showcasing examples of good climate journalism to inspire and guide professionals.
Through these initiatives, Media for Future contributes to more reliable, engaging, and impactful climate journalism, helping society better understand and respond to the climate crisis.
