The Media for Future online seminar brings together scientists, journalists and communication professionals to reflect on the role of the media in responding to climate change. As a collaborative initiative, the project promotes dialogue between science and journalism, strengthening climate communication, raising public awareness and encouraging informed and meaningful action. The event will be a space for sharing experiences, best practices and challenges, highlighting innovative strategies for communicating climate change in a clear, responsible and impactful way.

Speaker Sujata Gupta Kedar: Associate Professor & Head, Department of Human Development, Mount Carmel College, Bangalore; developmental psychologist and educator, with work spanning human development, emotional intelligence, and capacity-building with student and professional communities.
Speaker Paula Nunes da Silva: Forestry Engineer with a solid track record in the field of environment, sustainability, and nature conservation policies. Currently, she is the President of Quercus – the National Association for Nature Conservation, having previously served as its vice-president. She possesses extensive experience in environmental management, forest protection, and public awareness of climate and ecological issues, with regular participation in public and media spaces as an environmental expert.
