Media for Future offers a series of interactive training sessions designed to equip journalists and also scientists with the knowledge and tools to communicate climate science effectively.
Face-to-Face Workshops in Iceland and Austria
Our immersive workshops bring journalists together with climate scientists and communication experts in Iceland and Austria. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, explore local examples of climate challenges and solutions, and collaborate with peers from across Europe. These workshops foster networking, practical skill-building, and a deeper understanding of climate reporting.
Live Online Seminars
In addition to the face-to-face trainings, our online seminars provide an engaging virtual learning experience.
The seminars include interactive discussions, expert Q&A sessions, and practical tips to enhance climate communication.

Speaker Sujata Gupta Kedar: Associate Professor & Head, Department of Human Development, Mount Carmel College, Bangalore; developmental psychologist and educator, with work spanning human development, emotional intelligence, and capacity-building with student and professional communities.
Speaker Paula Nunes da Silva: Forestry Engineer with a solid track record in the field of environment, sustainability, and nature conservation policies. Currently, she is the President of Quercus – the National Association for Nature Conservation, having previously served as its vice-president. She possesses extensive experience in environmental management, forest protection, and public awareness of climate and ecological issues, with regular participation in public and media spaces as an environmental expert.
